escapism has been a part of my everyday for many years
trauma is the arena my brain needs a vacation from
so i go here and there

still can't shake the reality
i want to write that book
working on it

and the #EscapingSkidRow thing
singing a song of hard rock and roll
listening for sounds that mellow my soul
that is the same as my clock running
that entertains the depth of pain
anguished strained through the speakers

wires no longer with me
air waves shave the last little bit of light
flight is the space that takes me to another cave or wave or outer space

bring it to me
who U are
in the mix
of who i am
shatter some plate glass windows
anguish out of the bag

now we are back to work
in bringing civility out of the cage
